Marjoram (Origanum majorana), also called wild oregano or sweet marjoram is an herb that is a member of the mint (Lamiaceae) family. Although closely associated with oregano, marjoram and oregano are two different herbs. Stronger marjoram tea: Add two teaspoons of marjoram to a cup of 7 ounces of cold water. Let it soak for 24 hours and add honey to it. An even stronger tea may be made by adding 6 teaspoons marjoram to 6 ounces of water. It has a calming, antidepressive effect.

Special Precautions & Warnings:-

Pregnancy and breast-feeding: It is POSSIBLY UNSAFE to use marjoram in medicinal amounts if you are pregnent. It might start your period, and that could threaten the pregnecy.

Not enough is known about the safety of using marjoram in medicinal amounts if you are brest feeding. Stay on the safe side and avoid use.

Do not give marjoram to children in medicinal amounts. It is POSSIBLY UNSAFE for them.
